Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre Newsletter – April 30th 2013
Intro/Letter From the Editor – Ryan Main – General Manager
The spring that never sprung is probably the best way to describe what we’ve endured in the Manitoba area this year. But, that won’t stop campers from enjoying the great outdoors in 2013!
This year we’ve made some great deals with our manufacturers to ensure our customers get the best deals possible on their new RV’s. We’ve tied in some great promotions to reward our customers even further (trips to Hawaii and shopping sprees to name a couple), and that will again be on display with our May ‘Lot Show’ event. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for all the details surrounding that event.
For those of our readers who are active in the social media scene, be sure to look for Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre and ‘Like’ us on Facebook or ‘Follow’ us on Twitter for all the latest on special deals, sales, new trades, and general camping information and updates.
As always, if you have any comments, questions or concerns, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any suggestions or would like to make a contribution to a future newsletter please email email@example.com. Until next month’s newsletter, we’ll see you at the Lot Show, May 6-11.

Service News – Heather Arthurson – Service Manager
This month we would like to introduce Ocsar Benitez. Oscar has been with us since the fall. Oscar and his family moved to Brandon and Oscar worked at Maple Leaf for five years before joining us. Oscar has been performing the duties of performing pre-delivery inspections on our new and used trailers as they come into the shop. Oscar has learned very quickly the ins and outs of a trailer and has been very quick when it comes to learning about something new. Oscar is very detailed when performing his pre-delivery inspections. This is very important to us and in turn very important to our customers. Oscar enjoys fishing, golfing and spends alot of time in the kitchen. Oscar is a great fit into the shop and works well with all the guys in the back.
Recipe of the Month – Campfire Toasted Burritos
Finally it’s starting to heat up outside, so here’s a recipe that will be sure to leave your mouth just as warm. Great for the whole family, these burritos will be easy to make and a for sure favourite around the campfire this summer.
Campfire Toasted Burritos
1 pound taco meat
1 cup cooked white rice
½ cup shredded cheese
¼ cup salsa verde
4 burrito-sized flour tortillas (10”)
½ cup pico de gallo
4 foil sheets
Fill each flour tortilla with ¼ of the taco meat, rice, cheese and salsa. Roll halfway, fold over ends and continue rolling into burrito. Wrap the burrito in foil.
Cook the burrito over smoldering coals farther from the main flame for 3 minutes, flip and continue cooking for 3 additional minutes. Remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly and serve with pico de gallo.
Makes 4 burritos
