Now that summer has officially arrived (June 21st), the time seems to be flying by. The kids will be out of school (next week for the little ones), if they aren’t already (the big ones), grads will be behind us, and two full months of warm summer days lie ahead. If you haven’t already prepped your camper, or made your deal on a new RV that’s better suited for your family’s needs, then we have the deal for you. In the newsletter this month, Dave will lay out some of the details of next week’s ‘Canada Day Sales Event’, Brianne will give you a teaser on a new product line of BBQ supplies for those of you who are avid bonfire cookers, and you’ll have the flyer for our nationwide RV Care parts and accessories sale at your fingertips.

I do want to take this chance to apologize to those of you who were likely wondering what happened to last month’s newsletter. With how busy we were in May, we couldn’t co-ordinate with everyone who does a blurb for the newsletter in time to get anything put together. With the savings available within this month’s newsletter though, we think you’ll forgive us!

Recipe of the Month – Canada Flag Cake

Sticking with the Canadian theme of this newsletter, here’s a tasty dessert everyone will be sure to love during your Canada Day celebrations



1 pkg. (298 g) prepared pound cake, cut into 12 slices

2 cups boiling water

2 pkg. (85 g each) Jell-O Strawberry Jelly Powder

3 cups ice cubes

3 cups sliced fresh strawberries, divided

2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping


COVER bottom of 13×9-inch dish with cake slices; set aside.

ADD boiling water to jelly powders in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice cubes; stir 3 to 5 min. or until ice is melted. Remove any unmelted ice. Stir in 1 cup strawberries; pour over cake. Refrigerate 15 min. Cover with Cool Whip.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until jelly is firm. Arrange remaining berries over dessert to resemble the Canadian flag.
